Organizers are hoping for 20 or more vendors, with more tables still available.

Confirmed products already include homemade baking, salves and creams, tea, wood crafts, children’s art, farm-fresh eggs, illusionary art, home canning, potpourri, aroma stones, nail art and Pampered Chef products.

The vendor mix will continue to grow as more people sign up, making this a good stop for unique Christmas gifts while supporting local makers and small businesses.

Supporting the Bearberry Community

The Bearberry Community Hall is a frequently used and well-cared-for gathering place for the surrounding rural community.

Proceeds from the Winter Market will help support the hall, while visitors can also bring an optional donation for the McDougall Church food bank.

Admission is free.

The community hall will be selling coffee, hot chocolate, pop, water, chips and chocolate bars during the market.

Calaway Park Halloweekends 2026

Rides, costumes and Halloween fun take over Calaway Park during Halloweekends, a family-friendly fall event running on weekends through October 12, 2026.

We have been to Halloweekends ourselves, and it is such a fun way to squeeze in a few more amusement park days before winter. My daughter loved the Halloween atmosphere, and I liked that it felt festive and spooky without trying to scare younger kids.

Halloween Takes Over Calaway Park

During Halloweekends, part of the park becomes Hallotown, filled with Halloween scenes, colourful displays and plenty of places to stop for photos.

Kids and adults are encouraged to wear family-friendly costumes, and the park still operates its regular rides and attractions throughout the day.

There are also Magical Meet & Greets at the Enchanted Forest Experience, weather permitting, giving younger visitors another reason to explore beyond the rides.

Watch or Join the Halloweekends Parade

On most Halloweekends dates, the Halloweekends Parade travels through the park at 3:30 PM with characters and Halloween-themed floats.

Visitors wearing family-friendly costumes can even join the parade.

One planning note: there is no parade on October 4 or Thanksgiving Monday, October 12, and outdoor entertainment can change with the weather.

Kraay Family Farm Pumpkin Days

Fall at Kraay Family Farm near Lacombe in Alberta, Canada means pumpkins, a giant corn maze and more activities than most families will fit into one visit.

The farm is open Wednesday through Saturday until October 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. We have visited before, and my daughter loved it. This is definitely not just a quick corn-maze stop. There is so much to do.

More Than a Corn Maze

Kraay Family Farm is home to the well-known Lacombe Corn Maze, but the maze is only one part of the experience.

The farm has 60+ attractions and activities, including jumping pillows, mini golf, slides, farm animals, games, an adventure course and plenty of places for kids to climb, race and play.

The 2026 Corn Maze

The 2026 maze theme is Wishes Are Medicine, created in support of Make-A-Wish.

The farm is donating a portion of seasonal sales to the organization, along with 100% of pumpkin sales, giving visitors another good reason to pick out a pumpkin before heading home.

Pumpkin Days bring plenty of fall colour to the farm, with pumpkins in different shapes, sizes and colours, seasonal displays and lots of photo opportunities.

When the sun goes down, Calgary Farmyard lights up for one of the most family-friendly fall nights near Calgary.

Harvest Lights runs Friday and Saturday evenings through October 24, 2026, filling the farm with thousands of colourful lights while more than 40 attractions stay open into the evening. Add pumpkins, animals, fall treats and a corn maze intentionally left dark for a flashlight challenge, and there is plenty here to keep families busy well past sunset.

I have visited Calgary Farmyard with my daughter before, and she loved it. This is not the kind of place where you do one activity and head home. Kids can easily bounce from one attraction to the next while parents wonder how several hours disappeared so quickly.

What Is Harvest Lights at Calgary Farmyard?

Harvest Lights is the nighttime version of Calgary Farmyard’s fall experience.

As daylight fades, thousands of lights brighten the farm while visitors continue exploring the rides, play areas, games and farm attractions. Depending on what your family gravitates toward, you might spend the evening bouncing, climbing, racing, visiting animals, playing mini golf or heading straight for the corn maze.

Fall also brings pumpkins, wagon rides, seasonal photo opportunities and treats such as hot apple cider.

Try the Corn Maze After Dark

One part of the farm does not light up.

The approximately 10-acre corn maze is intentionally kept dark during Harvest Lights, turning it into a flashlight challenge after sunset.

Bring a flashlight, or at the very least make sure your phone is charged before heading in. If completing the maze is high on your list, give yourself time. Calgary Farmyard recommends allowing around an hour for the full maze experience.

More Than a Corn Maze

The maze may be one of the classic fall attractions, but Calgary Farmyard has more than 40 activities spread throughout the property.

Families can find playgrounds, jumping attractions, farm animals, mini golf, tractor rides, racing activities, slides, games and plenty of places to stop for photos.

Calgary Farmyard says families spend an average of roughly 4.5 hours at the farm, which is easy to understand once kids start discovering everything there is to do.

Pumpkins After Dark is back at WinSport in Calgary from September 25 to October 31, 2026, turning the slopes of Canada Olympic Park into a glowing outdoor Halloween walk.

The event runs Thursday through Sunday evenings, with thousands of carved pumpkin designs worked into giant sculptures, familiar characters, spooky scenes and creative displays. There are plenty of Halloween vibes, but no jump scares, making this one an easy choice for families with younger kids too.

What Is There to Do at Pumpkins After Dark?

The illuminated pumpkin trail is the star of the night, but it isn't the only reason to go.
Along the way, expect live pumpkin-carving demonstrations, spooky photo-op stations, food and treats, vendors and entertainment. You may even come across performers wandering through the event.

New for 2026, visitors can also add a maze experience to their night. A maze pass is included with VIP admission.

Are All Those Pumpkins Real?

No, and they really couldn't be.

A fresh pumpkin would not survive outdoors for the entire month-long event, especially through Alberta's changing fall weather. Pumpkins After Dark uses a mix of real pumpkins and reusable synthetic carving pumpkins to create its displays.

That doesn't take away from the art. Many of these pieces are incredibly detailed, and larger displays combine individual carvings into entire glowing scenes. The creativity and carving are what make the walk worth slowing down for.

This special evening includes the full Pumpkins After Dark experience along with a licensed area, live entertainment and admission to the maze. Tickets are $29 for everyone attending, with timed entry throughout the evening.

What Happens at Adult Only Night?

The thousands of illuminated pumpkin designs are still the main attraction. Wander through large Halloween scenes set to music, sounds and special effects, stop at the spooky photo opportunities and take your time checking out the carving work along the trail.
