A beautiful day full of love laughter and good vibes. The Calgary Pride Parade was huge with a great turn out and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time. The parade takes place on the 1st weekend in September annually. After the parade, head to Prince's Island Park to carry on the festivities at the Pride Festival. Beer gardens, food trucks, market vendors, kids area and much more.

Prince's Island Park has a kids zone with a bounce castle for the pride festival. We couldn't find any face painting available though, perhaps a market for someone to tap into at the festival
