Akamina Lake in Waterton Lakes National Park is an easy hike from the Cameron Lake parking lot. It was pretty smokey from nearby BC wildfires currently burning. There are still no signs up for this trailhead since the Kenow fire of 2017, but look between the 2 washrooms and you'll find a trail. Take that about 1 km and you will find beautiful Akamina Lake! Great easy toddler hike.

We tried fishing for all of 5 minutes. Was too windy today for that.

It's amazing to see the stages of regrowth after a wildfire. A thing of beauty and amazement really.
