Lumière: The Art of Light - is a free outdoor light exhibition showcasing 16 artistic installations developed by Ontario artists at Trillium Park in Ontario Place in Toronto, Canada.

This year’s festival theme is “renewal”, celebrating the change of seasons featuring art from winter to spring. Lumière in Toronto is open 7 nights a week, until May 7th. Festival best viewed from dusk to 11 p.m. On Friday and Saturday evenings warm up at the lakeside bonfire.

The Ghost Canoe at Lumière: The Art of Light by Jungle Ling is made from disposable plastic found along the shoreline of Lake Ontario. As people approach, a sensor activates blue lights at the front and rear “seat areas” of the canoe.
