Whether you’re sitting at the bar or lounging in one of the cozy booths, the brewery offers a relaxed space to enjoy some of the finest locally brewed beer in Newfoundland.
Yellowbelly’s diverse selection of craft beers is one of its standout features. From light, crisp lagers to rich, hoppy IPAs, there's something to satisfy every palate. A favourite among locals and tourists alike is their signature Yellowbelly Pale Ale, a balanced, aromatic brew that embodies the spirit of the island. If you're feeling adventurous, their seasonal and specialty brews—often infused with local ingredients like berries or seaweed—offer a true taste of Newfoundland. During our visit, we couldn't resist the cheeky Elbows Up! brew, which quickly became a favourite.

The fish and chips and house-made sausages pair perfectly with any pint, making it an ideal stop for a satisfying meal after a day of exploring the vibrant streets of St. John’s. We sampled the hummus and pita and can say with confidence it was among the best we've tasted anywhere in Canada.
