In the summer months, this is a popular local hang out spot for the kids. It's a great swimming area and they have a rope swing under the bridge into the river!

We were a bit late into the month of October so we did not see any this time. But if you visit between Sept and early October, you may get to see countless salmon "running up the river"

The scenery was much different on this trip to the suspension bridge. I was last here in the summer of 2020. Everything looked different! Right to the colour of the water. Was a beautiful trip down memory lane visiting Malakwa.

This cool foot bridge was originally constructed in 1915! It was redone back in 1940 ad the bridge you see today.
