Event Description:
The Log Farm Sugarbush 2024 is from March 2nd until April 7th in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Plan a visit to The Log Farm Sugarbush this spring!
Enjoy a wagon ride to the Sugarbush to see how maple syrup is made.
Taste some sweet taffy on the snow and take a walk on the trails.
Taffy is available for sale in the Sugarbush.
The Log Farm provides a special hands-on experience for visitors and you can even help gather the sap around the sugarbush!
Sap flow is completely weather dependent, +5 degrees and sunny are the best days to collect sap.
If it is too cold the sap will not be running.
When you visit the sugarbush during our season you will also have access to the main farmyard, where you can visit with all the farm animals!
There are lots of friendly animals to see, feed, and touch around the farm along with play areas for the kids, including hay structures and corn tables.
The pioneer farmhouse will be open for self-guided tours, where you will step back in time and see what family life would have been like in the 1860s.
Make sure to dress for the weather and plan to be there for a few hours, giving you the time you need to enjoy it all.
