Phyllis Lake is a beautiful little gem in central Alberta Canada in the Clearwater County. Hidden in the trees down a gravel road, you'll find a lovely little First Come First Serve campground overlooking the lake below. Spend some time fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking or any other water activity. No large boats and motors allowed on Phyllis Lake. Enjoy the small day use area with picnic tables and fire pits near the boat launch and dock.

Phyllis Lake is a nice area with easy access at the boat launch. With a large dock, it gives families a simple way to access to lake.

There are a few things to keep in mind when launching watercraft in Alberta. Luckily there are lots of handy signs to help keep up to date. Speed limit is 12km/hr here for small boats.

Phyllis Lake has both treed in sites and also sites that are a bit more open and showcase great views from up above the water.

As you can see, you get great views of Phyllis Lake from some campsites. But you'd have to go down the hill to access the lake then if you choose a higher site.

Phyllis Lake is easy to find with gravel road access. The road is in good condition. If it's a dry dusty day, make sure to turn you headlights on for safety when driving the dusty backroads in Canada.
