On a last minute decision we decided to adventure up to Edmonton on New Years Eve this year. After arriving we heard the downtown area put on a New Years Eve Festival in Edmonton.

On a last minute decision we decided to adventure up to Edmonton on New Years Eve this year. After arriving we heard the downtown area put on a New Years Eve Festival in Edmonton.
They do 2 fireworks shows! An earlier family event at 9pm and then a later one for the actual countdown to 12am, which was absolutely fantastic.
We took the Little Adventure Seeker to the 9pm fireworks show down at the pyramids in Edmonton. It was a very busy place with everyone quite cheerful and easy to navigate through the crowds safely.
There were food trucks as well as a few other neat things to see and do, including a skating rink. It was a blast being in downtown Edmonton for the 2023 to 2024 New Year.

Awesome fireworks show on New Years Eve in Edmonton Alberta Canada. We went to the family time one at 9pm. Great turn out downtown for the 2023-2024 New Years Eve Show.

As we walked around the downtown Edmonton area on New Years, an ambulance was nearby letting people do tours and learning a bit about the important job of a paramedic. Kids were given a goody bag with useful items and toys inside for visiting.
