Newfoundland Live Music - Shanneyganock perform in Marystown
Newfoundland Canada is famous for it’s Irish/Celtic influenced folk music and live music is easy to find around the province. Each Christmas the well known local band Shanneyganock takes to the stage at various locations around the province for “A Shanney Christmas” , as us locals like to call it! It’s one of the most fun times of the year!! Bearded front man Chris Andrews makes a point to say “Are there any Newfoundlanders here tonight?” and the venue goes wild with fun loving Newfoundlanders ready to party!! Dance your heart out to high energy jigs and reels played on traditional instruments such as the button accordion and fiddle!
