Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) celebrating 100 years of moving Toronto

On Saturday August 20, 2022, we are hosting our close-out event for the TTC’s 100th anniversary year. We will be celebrating at our Hillcrest location from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This event will focus on the TTC’s past and future. Join us as we look back on the evolution of the TTC, and look forward to what the TTC of tomorrow will be.

Tour vintage vehicles and new state-of-the-art vehicles
Get a glimpse of the future of transit from Toronto area students and the TTC’s Innovation and Sustainability Division
Grab a souvenir from the TTC Pop-up shop and food at the barbeque
Board the free shuttle from Hillcrest to the Toronto Archives building where you can see the TTC 100 Years of Moving Toronto Exhibit.

Flats Fest is a music festival located in the beautiful village of Canal Flats, British Columbia in the heart of Columbia Valley. THE NORTHERN LIGHTS BLUEGRASS & OLD TYME MUSIC FESTIVAL/CAMP IS HOSTED AT THE BEAUTIFUL THE NESS CREEK SITE, SASKATCHEWAN.
Many visitors to Saskatchewan find their way to the Prince Albert National Park. Although most people are more familiar with the East Side of the Park, increasing numbers of visitors are now heading to the Wild West Side. This less-developed side includes a wild Plains bison herd, lakes that have retained their pristine qualities, and a relatively untouched slice of the boreal forest.

A hub of activity on the West Side, the Ness Creek Site, is home to a variety of cultural and artistic activities, as well as 40 km of trails and all-season cabins, offering visitors to the area opportunities for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing.

The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is Canada’s largest annual community event.
