Northern Alberta Farmers Markets are plentiful. Tuesdays you can visit Sexsmith for an evening market shopping experience.

Sexsmith is located just 20 minutes north of Grande Prairie.

This Farmers Market is 100% home-baked, homemade or grown locally. So shop with the confidence of truly supporting local small growers, bakers, and makers.
At the Sexsmith Farmers Market you will find wonderful items such as baked goods, farm fresh eggs, fruits, veggies, custom art pieces and so much more. You may notice a different food truck weekly at this Sexsmith event. Variety is great and this market has it!

Shop Local

Rycroft is a cute village located about 70km north of Grand Prairie in northern Alberta, Canada.

The Rycroft Mother's Day Market will be filled with amazing gift ideas, summer fun items, baked goods, beautiful crafts and plenty more! Bring mom out for a browse around town in a one stop shop.

Vendors set up shop on Saturday May 11, in the Rycroft AG Centre at 1050 49 Ave. Found just off of the Spirit River Highway to the north. An indoor market with a fantastic menu of fresh food available, and you can even pre-order some!

Next up after the Mother's Day event in Rycroft, is the Father's Day Market on June 15 from 12-4.

As for the food, there is a wide open soup cook off and a YXE (Saskatoon airport code) Chef's Soup Cook Off but the one I am looking forward to the most is the bannock and bison stew at the Eclat Light Tipi.

FALL FUN at Galey's Corn Maze, Market and Railway!

Open October weekends from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, bring the kids and get lost in the corn maze, ride the train through a ghost town, harvest your very own pumpkin, visit with the farm animals and enjoy a hayride! If you get hungry from all the farm work take a break and have a hotdog while listening to some bluegrass in the music hall.

Victoria BC's premier farmers market - Moss St. Farmers Market!

Is held every Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM until the end of October on the grounds of Sir James Douglas elementary school. The market features fresh farm produce, artisan breads and pastas, cider and beer, honey and jam, jewelry and art, t-shirts and hats, and so many more wonderful arts and craft products.

Should you get hungry there are food trucks and coffee by Mile Zero. There is also entertainment music and an old fashioned bean bag toss for young and old alike!

Don't worry should you miss this traditional summer event, as the market will return in November, only inside the school for the winter market season.
