West Coast Amusements (WCA) is Western Canada's largest traveling midway, attending 40 to 50 events each year, including the Calgary and Ponoka Stampedes and the Saskatoon and Red Deer fairs. The season begins in early spring in BC, moves through the Prairies during summer, and ends in the Lower Mainland by late September. Founded in 1962 by Irvin "Bingo' Hauser and his wife Jackie--who started with a carousel after selling their circus animals--WCA's lion logo honours Simba, Bingo's iconic lion from his circus showman days. At Mayfair Mall, in Victoria, BC, or this summer find the WCA midway nearest you.
