One of our favourite parts of visiting the Hector Heritage Quay museum was exploring the inside of the full scale replica of the ship Hector. It was hard to image how 189 Scottish immigrants, together with all their belongings and enough food to last for the 11 week voyage could have fit inside the tiny space.
