The Town of Davidson in Saskatchewan was found in 1902 and is named after Colonel Andrew Duncan Davidson. Long before social media ever existed, grain elevators were the pace to be to get the latest updates and gossip from the neighbours. Farmers would bring their grain to get weighed and to sell it.
