The Birkie, or the Canadian Birkebeiner Ski Festival 2024 is on Saturday, February 10th at the Cooking Lake Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada.
This annual event celebrates cross-country skiing with up to 2000 skiers and is one of Canada’s largest Nordic ski events. Now celebrating its 36th year, come experience this incredible event that has a Nordic Fair and Vikings Feast. Join us on routes 55 (with or without a 6 kg backpack), 31, 29 skate, ski, 13, 4, or 2.5 km.
