Calgary's Chinook Blast 2022

Get outside and light up your winter with Chinook Blast in Calgary. This four-week winter festival is a celebration of the best of winter in Calgary with safe and fun ways to warm up your winter schedule. Local artists will illuminate winter nights with photo-worthy installations along with events and activities from iconic winter festivals, including High-Performance Rodeo, BIG Winter Classic, GLOW, Calgary Folk Music Festival’s Block Heater, and Ethnik Festival.
Downtown will be lit up with larger-than-life light sculptures and free, family-friendly art installations, activities, buskers, pop-up performances, a community stage, and an artist pavilion at Olympic Plaza, Calgary City Hall, and Calgary Central Library.
