While traveling along Hwy 1, you'll find this nice picnic area and viewpoint high above the town of Golden B.C. Canada. While staying at the Days Inn that is just moments away, I enjoyed sitting above town at night watching the lights, moon, and mountain silhouette appear. A great rest stop on a road trip in the area. There is also a monument sign about Sikh history of the area, as well as a walking trail leading down into the town of Golden.

This viewpoint in Golden offers amazing views after the sun sets and the mountains turn to a black silhouette against the dimly lit sky. Personally, that's my favourite time to sit and enjoy the mountains.
