Twillingate Newfoundland Canada has been my home for a couple weeks now and I am LOVING all of the epic coastal adventures in this scenic seaside town! I am also loving the very relaxed and simple lifestyle here on the islands and have been busy exploring the many secluded beaches in search of sea glass and other beach-combing treasures. Additionally, I’ve been having a lovely time admiring and photographing all kinds of historic homes in the area that have been lovingly restored by the current owners. While there is so much to share, here is a little glimpse into my new life in Twillingate, Newfoundland and Labrador Canada.

Twillinagte NL is an active fishing town and visitors will see boats of all kinds at berth in the harbour. This floating marina is located close to my current home and I have been enjoying watching the boats come and go!

“Twilly” appears to be the slang, but loving, nickname for Twillingate NL. In fact, while exploring beautiful Back Harbour I noticed this special message written in stones on the seaside cliff. I wonder who the artist is?

Crab shells of all shapes and sizes are a very common find when beach-combing in Twillingate NL Canada. I have a large collection of sea creature shells stowed away for my art studio.

Historic Homes in Twillingate Newfoundland date way back to the 1800’s and are fine examples of traditional NL architecture. This old property has been lovingly cared for and has its own root cellar in the back yard.
