There is a lovely foot path running along the Nicomekl River in South Surrey, British Columbia. At first it passes beside homes and then beside the Nico-Wynd Golf Course. There are boats moored along the river, lots of ducks and Canada Geese. Almost always I see a Heron or two fishing in the shallows. Many dog walkers take this path as well as cyclists, and joggers. There are a few benches along the path for cloud watching or working on a poem. Sometimes the river is mirror smooth and there are wonderful reflections to contemplate. One of my favorite places to take pictures!
