Art Meets Architecture - Art Gallery of Greater Victoria Annual House Virtual Tour 2022

VIRTUAL EVENT: The Greater Victoria Art Gallery's annual fund raiser is back again for 2022, in virtual format. Upon purchase, a video link will be sent to you enabling you to view the tour from the comfort of your own home at any time or hour of the day and as often as you wish between September 18th and October 30th.

Five homes will be showcased, you will be virtually greeted by each homeowner and guided through the rooms of these remarkable homes where the art and architecture will be discussed. The theme this year will be a home's relationship to location whether it be hidden in woodlands, surrounded by gardens, a hidden gem on the beach, or hanging onto a steep slope. Each home has a unique story to tell.

Over the years, this event has been able to bring thousands of people together in Toronto. The major highlights of the grand event will be the exhibition of Nepalese arts and crafts, live performance of Nepalese music and dance by famous Nepalese artists from the Greater Toronto Area and beyond, taste of Nepalese foods, and dissemination of information about the Nepalese world heritage sites.

The New Hamburg Fall Fair is one of Ontario's Largest Fall Fairs and it began over 160 years ago.
Four fun days for the whole family: Midway Rides, Livestock Demos & Competitions, Tractor Pulls, and a Demolition Derby. The kids will love the Barnyard Children's Area.
Stroll through the Craft & Art Vendors Market & grab some delicious fair food from the many food vendors.

Brooks Corn Maze dares you to get lost in the corn field! Enjoy some outdoor activities with the family. Open Saturdays and Sundays from August 20 to October 30 (weather permitting).

The Brooks Corn Maze offers plenty of activities for everyone including the Human Hamster Wheel, the Corny Sandbox, a magnetic fish pond, Pasture Putt Golf, and the chance to cuddle rabbits, lambs and goats. All included with the price of the Maze admission!!

Enjoy a new corn maze design this year; and every year!

This year's design is a Stanza of Music from the song Old Macdonald Had A Farm.

Don't forget to check out their U-pick raspberries and fresh produce during the summer/fall and pumpkins in October!

Brooks Corn Maze is located just south of Brooks city limits, at the corner of Industrial Road and 7th Street East. The gate is at the same turn-off for the South Country Co-Op.

The 2022 fall season kicks off with the Fall-o-Ween U-Pick Pumpkin Harvest Fest at Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm in Grand Prairie Alberta!

A celebration of the great pumpkin patch all month long in September.
Prairie Gardens is the furthest north blue pumpkin grower in the world! With over 15 acres of pumpkins planted - of all shape, colour and size imaginable, and wide open spaces - this is a fun and safe family activity!

Some of the fun you'll find- Hayrides, corn mazes, scarecrow making, potato digging and cabbage patch visits.
Back at the Prairie Gardens homestead, there are farm animals, bale mazes, a sunflower maze, the Lost Lemon Gem Mine, and a Pumpkin Corny-val with pumpkin bowling, pumpkin ring toss, bale jumps and more!

Open Weekends from 10:30am - 6pm
Some special activities you'll notice - Puppet Shows, Pumpkin Cannon, Haunted Ghost Tours, 15-Acre U-Pick Pumpkin Patch and Big Cornmaze!

Farm Gate Pumpkin Sales information- No entry fee required to just come and buy a pumpkin from the Pumpkin displays in the courtyard or pumpkin patch display in the greenhouses. Entry fees are charged only when you'd like to explore the mazes and have fun enjoying our activities.

Admission rates include a $5 voucher to pick a free pumpkin ($5 value), trackless train rides, a petting farm with flocks of baby goats, and sheep, 7 corn mazes, a sunflower maze, hayrides, potato digging and plenty o' Fall-o-ween fun for the entire family!
