2900 Plaza is back!
All summer long the 2900 block of downtown Vernon is closed to street traffic and is an open plaza for sales, musical talent, lunchtime activities, and more.
On the Downtown Vernon Instagram page, each week is posted the coming week's activities musical lineups, and other happenings on the block itself!!

Weekly events happening on the 2900 Plaza are:
Everyday at Noon, Solo Artists
Thursdays, Downtown Sounds
Fridays at 5 pm, Local DJs
Saturday features double entertainers.

Civic Sounds update for locals:
Civic sounds have now moved from city hall to the 2900 plaza, and have been renamed "Downtown Sounds". And will happen every Thursday!

Westside Daze has returned after two years of no event due to COVID-19!
Features many fun events, vendors, and activities throughout the three-day event. Including daily music, midway rides, and games, proformas from local playgroups, and a parade.
A full lineup can be viewed on their website and is subject to change.

The Badlands Festival is a series of electronic and hip-hop shows downtown during the famous Calgary Stampede.
