We visited the Muttart Conservatory on National Indigenous Peoples Day. This is a day that celebrates the history, heritage, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people. This is a special day for my friend as she is Metis, and we had a wonderful day connecting to the land, learning about plants from near and far. Additionally, we learned more about Indigenous culture, including ribbon skirts. The three of us ladies are wearing ribbon skirts that were handmade by my friend
