Here is a view from a top the mountain on secondary road 532 which is closed in the winter (Dec-Apr) from Indian Graves Campsite onwards. You're overlooking the Livingstone PLUZ (Public Land Use Zone) of Alberta. Here is where you can random camp, just pick your spot and set up camp. Just please make sure you aren't setting up on trails or trailheads. There are a few designated campsites as well to help you if you're not as familiar with backcountry camping. This area of Alberta is fantastic for day trips as well, to see tons of wildlife, waterfalls, spectacular views and much more. Consider buying a Kananaskis parks pass as this area is considered Kananaskis Country.
