The Elora Gorge Conservation Area in Ontario, Canada, is one of the most beautiful and spectacular natural areas in the Grand River valley. Nestled along the Grand River, this Conservation Area features dramatic 22-metre high limestone cliffs through which the river rushes, creating rapids, panoramic views, and unforgettable outdoor adventures.
Riverside trails equipped with safety barriers and scenic overlooks allow hikers to gaze down into the gorge where kayakers and tubers make their way through the rapids.
The park is open seasonally (from May 1 to October 15), offering day-use hours from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
For those seeking adventure, tubing in the Grand River is a highlight at Elora Gorge Conservation Area. Riding an inner tube offers both thrills and a chance to float past sheer cliffs with dramatic water flow, though tubing may sometimes be closed due to high water conditions for safety.
Camping is also available, with well-maintained campsites, washrooms, showers, and group facilities like picnic pavilions. Picnicking, hiking, fishing (especially brown trout), and canoeing/whitewater kayaking are other popular activities here.

Elora is the most road-trippable town in Canada. I truly agree with this sign. I just had to snap a shot
