It was a warm sunny Spring day today in Torbay, Newfoundland, Canada. I was grateful to spend some time listening to the waves at the beach and feeling the sand between my toes. Torbay beach was active with beachcombers and children enjoying the island sunshine today. In fact, living a coastal NL lifestyle means embracing every moment of fair weather. 

I spent some time beach combing for sea glass and shells but had no luck today. However, I watched a man launch his sea kayak and paddle along the coastline. It made me want to get my kayaks out in the water. I am looking forward to paddling adventures this Summer season. The days are getting longer and the weather is starting to heat up here on the East Coast now. In conclusion, I enjoyed a nice sandy beach break today and it was very rejuvenating. Coastal living is the only life for me!
