Several times in the past I've visited the Dutch Lake Resort to eat at the Painted Turtle Restaurant in Clearwater BC. It's a lovely spot and I've noted a few cabins for rent. Recently I had the opportunity to spend two nights in this cozy and rustic cabin. It's wonderful to wake in the morning to see a mist covering the lake and to notice the quietness. Ducks feeding on the lake. Someone in a boat fishing. There is something renewing about early morning on the shores of a lake. 

Clearwater is only minutes from the entrance to the Wells Gray Provincial Park. On this trip I finally had my first visit to this well known park.
