Up Close with Wildlife & Nature at Humber Bay Promenade Park, Toronto Ontario
I feel so fortunate to live just 10 minutes from the shores of Lake Ontario. Jeff and I often set out for walks along different stretches of Toronto’s waterfront, where the bustle of the city gives way to a sense of calm. These moments by the lake bring a welcome serenity to our days. And, the wildlife makes it even more special. On this walk, we spotted a graceful heron, a busy beaver, and flocks of geese and ducks enjoying the water.

Great to see such clear water and so many animals and birds right at home within the urban area. Nice that you have this in your backyard. I love that there is such a peaceful natural area right in the city - it is a great place to go birding, especially in the fall.
