Water Valley, Alberta is situated in the foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains 83 km from Calgary, Alberta.
With many coniferous trees, bogs, and meadows, Water Valley is the perfect habitat for The Great Grey Owl.

Did you know that when Owls fly they are silent? They have a wingspan of 1.3 meters and their feathers are finely serrated which allows air to flow through them without making any noise.
