The Happy Trails Pathway measures about 17+ kilometres in total. The trail is paved, mostly easy going and well maintained. Along the pathway are various access points leading to local parks, recreation facilities, lakes, historic sites and attractions.

High River

The waterfalls are the main natural attraction in the park. And there are also two historic sites located in the park for viewing - an old creamery and fish hatchery.

The site is remote away from the city of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. It is home to fishing derbys and, at times, can be a very busy wilderness campsite destination. However, it is important to know there is very little tree cover providing shelter from the sun.

The Inglewood Bird Sanctuary is a birding hot spot in Calgary, Alberta. The Nature Centre provides park information, trail maps and birdwatching checklists. Also at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary is a day use picnic area and some washrooms.

Frank Slide is a historical sightseeing destination located near the community of Frank in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta, Canada. The slide is a historical natural disaster which was recognized in 1977 as a Provincial Historical Site.

Each of the three trails leads to natural viewpoints with views of the Oldman River and overlooking a valley of rolling coulees. The trails explore a grassland prairie environment with groves of cottonwood trees surrounded by clusters of saskatoon and buffaloberry bushes.

Heritage Park is a working village, hosted by pioneer actors, measuring over 51 hectares (127 acres) along the shores of the Glenmore Reservoir. Some say it is the largest historical working village in Canada.
