McGregor Lake Reservoir is a recreation area and popular water sport destination located east of the community of Vulcan, Alberta, Canada in the Southern Alberta Foothills region of the Canadian Badlands.

The waterfalls are the main natural attraction in the park. And there are also two historic sites located in the park for viewing - an old creamery and fish hatchery.

Cochrane

The green space area along the Oldman River is home to narrow leaf cottonwood trees and many wildlife species. Some of the wildlife sightings commonly viewed in the park include waterfowl., beaver, deer, pheasants, white tailed rabbits and muskrat.

Fort MacLeod

This Lethbridge, Alberta nature preserve provides an opportunity for visitors to learn more about the local wildlife in the region with a special focus on the birding wildlife.

The park is home to the Royal Tyrrell Museum (Dinosaur attraction), McMullen Park (day use picnic park) and the Badlands Trail (interpretive walking trail). It is one of the most visited parks in the Drumheller Valley region.

A multi-use trail in the Crowsnest Pass near Blairmore Alberta Canada. Hike, bike, quad, or horseback ride up this 20km loop trail to the 1946 RCAF Dakota crash site. Please be respectful of this historic memorial place.

It is an area well documented with fossil discoveries of dinosaurs. There have been over 35 dinosaur discoveries recorded in the region uncovering fossils dating as far back as 70 million years ago. That was then and this is now.

Drumheller

The Park Lake Provincial Park was established in 1932 and is a popular destination for activities like swimming, picnicking, boating, canoeing, fishing, sailing, hiking, water skiing and camping.

Lethbridge

There are day use picnic tables decorating the grass lawns - , some with fire pits, some near the playground, some in the shade. There are sightseeing benches hugging the banks of the Seven Persons Creek. And there are trails with information signs.

Medicine Hat

Townsite Trail is a paved community pathway which explores the village of Waterton and visits with Emerald Bay (Divers Bay) and Cameron Bay on the shores of Upper Waterton Lake.

Much of the park is out in the open with some tree cover provided on the outskirts of the park. In the centre of the park, where much of the attention is focused, is McKay Lake surrounded by grass lawns.

The Inglewood Bird Sanctuary is a birding hot spot in Calgary, Alberta. The Nature Centre provides park information, trail maps and birdwatching checklists. Also at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary is a day use picnic area and some washrooms.

The Leitch Collieries are a reminder of the early coal mining days. Built from sandstone, some with pillars, the structures are very impressive to view. The architecture was ahead of its time for coal mining.
