Ottawa has so many great hiking and cycling trails, and this article does a great job of connecting them together. I didn't realize the Capital Pathway section of the Trans Canada Trail was part of the Greenbelt, but we really enjoyed it during our cross-Canada hike.
Greg Girard I think a lot of people underestimate the difficulty of the Grouse Grind because it is so short. On flat ground it would be a breeze, but the steep terrain makes it feel a lot longer than 2.5 km!
