The exhibition will take up two floors of the museum and will feature sculpture, photography and art exploring the intersection of contemporary art and skateboarding. With pre-registration there will even be an opportunity to skate on the sculptures during a community skate day!
The exhibition brings together 19 local, national, and international artists, who embody diversity in their practice and explore aesthetic, social, environmental, political, and architectural aspects of skateboarding. The exhibit will also feature workshops, a demonstration on how to build skate structures and presentations, including celebrating diversity and inclusion of women and girls in the sport.
