Wild roses are one of my favourite Newfoundland wildflowers. Not only is it pretty and smell delightful, it is used in multiple local natural skin care products. In fact, I use a NL wild rose oil concoction on my face daily to soothe, replenish and renew. The rose hips are also used locally in recipes for cooking and in tea.
