This free, family-friendly event transforms downtown Midland and its waterfront parks into a vibrant celebration of Canada's iconic dessert. Indulge in Over 300,000 Butter Tarts Satisfy your sweet tooth with an astounding variety of butter tarts—over 300,000 to be exact! From classic plain and raisin to adventurous flavors like maple bacon, s'mores, PB&J, and vegan or gluten-free options, there's a tart for every palate. Don't miss sampling Chapman's new Super Premium Plus Butter Tart ice cream, available outside the Midland Cultural Centre. Explore 200+ Vendors and Street Eats Stroll through Midland's downtown and waterfront parks, where over 200 vendors and food trucks await. Discover handcrafted goods, unique gifts, and a plethora of culinary delights beyond butter tarts. Local businesses also join the festivities, offering special deals and sweet treats. Witness the Butter Tart Contest Cheer on talented bakers competing in the Egg Farmers of Ontario Butter Tart Contest, held in Rotary Hall at the Midland Cultural Centre.
