The Herring Neck Dory Festival is an annual cultural festival that takes place in the rural outport community highlighting various Newfoundland traditions including kitchen parties, boat rowing races, music, craft fairs, a parade and fun for all ages! Herring Neck is located on the northeastern arm of New World Island, Notre Dame Bay NL. The small off the beaten path destination is about a 4 hour 40 minute drive from the Capital City of St. John’s.
