Our latest escapade took us to the incredible Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village & Museum in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan! From the moment we set foot in this living history museum, we were transported back in time to the early pioneer days.

We marveled at the impressive Sukanen Ship, built single-handedly by Tom Sukanen, a Finnish immigrant with a dream of sailing home. His story of determination and resilience left us speechless.

The village itself is a treasure trove of pioneer artifacts and historic buildings. We explored old schoolhouses, a blacksmith shop, and even an authentic general store! Each building is a testament to the ingenuity and hard work of the early settlers who shaped this beautiful land.
