The Sounds of the Falls on the Maligne Canyon Icewalk in Jasper National Park

By Janet Guthrie in Alberta 750 views 26th Mar, 2023 Video Duration: N/A   Maligne Canyon, Jasper, AB T0E 1E0, Canada

As Medicine Lake feeds into Maligne River, it first does so by traveling 14km underground only to emerge as springs in various locations along the canyon. When the water resurfaces it does so at temperatures that are above freezing. This is why there is water flowing year round. Most interertingly is the waterfall that is froen on the outside and being able to see and hear still flowing waterfall on the inside.
