Cascading 335 metres (1,101 ft) down the side of the mountain, Shannon Falls is British Columbia's 3rd largest waterfall and one of the easiest to access and view up close and personal.
The park features a riverfront recreation path called the Matsqui Trail which is popular for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. The Matsqui Trail is gravel and measures about 7 kilometres one-way. There are picnic day use areas, horseback riding staging areas and pit toilets.
Ellison Provincial Park is situated on the eastern shores of Okanagan Lake and is popular for swimming, boating, fishing, picnicking, camping and diving.
