Exploring The Crest Of Kennisis Hiking Trail

    Algonquin Highlands Ontario Canada

Hiking the Crest Of Kennisis Trail in Algonquin Highlands starting at the Hawk Lake Log Chute is a challenging but rewartding hiking trail in the beautifull Algonquin Highlands in Ontario Canada. The Crest Of Kennisis trail begins at the Log Chute Trail and Interpretive Site  and ends at the Circuit of 5 Viewpoints trailhead.

Embark on a 6 km hike along impressive ridges for breathtaking views from the cliffs. This trail showcases some of the finest scenery in the Highlands. Note that it is a linear path, stretching 6 km in one direction to the Circuit of 5 Viewpoints trailhead (refer to the information above). Itā€™s essential to carry a trail guide map and pay close attention to the junction signs to avoid unintentionally taking a longer route to a different access point. To return to the starting point, a car shuttle or another means of transport is necessary, but the effort is definitely rewarding. This trail features some of the most diverse terrain in the region, allowing hikers to fully engage in an authentic wilderness experience.
