    **3rd Race: General Public Ducks (main race of purchased ducks)

    The 44th annual Orillia Perch Festival will be held from Friday, April 25th to Saturday, May 10th in Orillia, Ontario, Canada.

    The whole family will enjoy the 2025 Orillia Perch Festival, geared to all ages and all fishing abilities.

    The 44th annual Orillia Perch Festival will be held from Friday, April 25th to Saturday, May 10th in Orillia, Ontario, Canada.

    The whole family will enjoy the 2025 Orillia Perch Festival, geared to all ages and all fishing abilities.
    Be a part of one of the largest registered fishing derbies in Canada!
    The Perch prefer shallow water, so you can fish from a boat or shore.
    Tagged Perch will be released before the festival.
    Tagged fish can be claimed on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, until 4:30 pm.
    From 7 am April 25th to 4 pm April 27th, all tagged fish need to be brought to the Official Weigh Station at 50 Centennial Drive, Orilla, to be recorded.
    April 28th to May 10th all tagged fish need to be brought to Trombly’s Tackle Box at 595 West Street South, Orillia, to be recorded.

    Bring the whole family to experience thousands of migrating Snow Geese, Canada Geese, Cranes, Swans and various Shorebirds returning to Beaverhill Lake and area.
    It is a spectacle of Spring that is magnificent to see.

    There is lots to see and do, including Bus Tours, Guided Hikes, Kids' Activities, a Trade Show, and a Saturday evening banquet.
    Full Schedule of Events
    7:30 am - 5:00 pm Tour Registration & Information Centre at the Tofield Curling Rink
    Concession open

    8 am – 3:30 pm Tour Departures from Tofield Arena
    Tour cost: $25 Adults, $10-12 & under, $60 for a Family of 2 Adults, 2 Kids

    Dress warmly for unpredictable Spring weather with waterproof footwear.

    Visit the Nature Alberta booth where families can try out a variety of different activities.
    *Kids can make their own mini Snow Goose to take home
    *Test your wildlife knowledge with interactive quizzes
    *Visitors can also "glue the feather on the owl" as you contribute to Nature Alberta's community art project.
