The 110 hectare (276 acre) Chippewa Park has a long history in Thunder Bay dating back to the 1920s.Other attractions located in the park include a wildlife park, amusement rides, train ride and two beaches. Sandy Beach is a supervised swimming beach while the Chippewa Beach is an unsupervised beach

The Nastawgan Trails consists of many large parcels of land and interconnected waterways maintained for the enjoyment of non motorized adventures. The wilderness areas are explored via a collection of hiking trails and a vast network of canoe routes measuring over 2400+ kilometres.

The memorial pays tribute to Terry Fox from Port Coquitlam, B.C. who attempted to run across Canada (5300 miles) with a prosthetic leg in an effort to increase awareness and to raise money for cancer.

The trail network of Porcupine Lake consists of two sections - the Porcupine Lake Trail and the Bart Thompson Trail. The lake and trails are popular for many activities including birdwatching (birding), canoeing, walking, jogging, hiking, sightseeing, picnicking and dog walking (on leash).

Devil’s Punchbowl Falls is a ribbon waterfall, 37 meters high and 3 meters wide. The Punchbowl is a significant geological formation carved by the swirling action of glacial melt water 10-12,000 years ago. There is a great viewing platform and hiking area.
