First and oldest lighthouse on PEI
Point Prim Lighthouse is located half way between the community of Charlottetown, PEI, Canada and the Wood Islands Ferry Terminal in a section of the island called Belfast. The 1845 brick lighthouse stands 19 metres tall and is the first and oldest lighthouse on PEI. At its peak the National Heritage Site lighthouse assisted ships navigating Northumberland Strait.
