All three sections have sandy beach access to Lakelse Lake - a very beautiful lake complimented by the Kitimat Mountain Range in the background. The activities most enjoyed in the park include hiking, canoeing, boating, windsurfing, swimming, fishing, camping and sightseeing.

Bourbor Falls Trail in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, Canada is a short 800 metre path connecting to a cliff side viewpoint looking out over a river at Boubor Falls. The 1 hour return hike provides a great opportunity to view a towering waterfall without a long, hard hike.

The trail system follows a circle route for 2.8 kilometres and is used by joggers, dog walkers (dogs must be leashed on the trail), fly fisherman and, even, cross country skiers in the winter.

A short hiking trail leads to Twin Falls which attracts people of all ages to the area every year so they can get a glimpse of the side-by-side, brother and sister waterfalls.

The moderate hiking route provides explorers with far reaching canyon, river and mountain views. The route is an opportunity to view Murray Canyon while learning about the local flora and fauna.

Tumbler Ridge

The hiking route takes advantage of the local waterways that flow through the community by following Buck Creek most of the way and the mighty Bulkley River for some of the way.

The trail and the rough gravel access road leading to the elevated views of the whole valley are by far one of the best scenic routes to explore when in Terrace,. BC hiking, off roading, mountain biking, sightseeing, xc skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling.

Teapot Mountain Trail is a short uphill hike leading to a summit with four viewpoints providing 360 degree views of the surrounding lakes, rivers, forests and wetlands.

Connaught Hill Park is a community park situated on the top of a hill in the centre of the community. The beautifully landscaped park provides 360 degree views of the community and of Fraser River.

Irrigation Lake Park is a full serviced recreation destination complete with picnic tables (some in the shade, some not), fire pits, sitting benches, change rooms and outhouses. The lake enjoys a small sandy beach and a large grassy area. Many arrive at the lake to swim and picnic.

Nisga’a Memorial Lava Bed Park and Nisga’a Memorial Lava Bed Corridor and Nisga’a Memorial Lava Bed Protected Areas (a.k.a. Anhluut’ukwsim Laxmihl Angwinga’asanskwhl Nisga’a) lava eruption covered over 18,000 hectares and included a 10 kilometre lava flow.

McMillan Creek Regional Park is a network of three short trails leading to a grassy knoll lookout over looking the community of Prince George, BC, Canada and the mighty Nechako River.

The 21 hectare park is located just south of the Babine Mountains Provincial Park. In 1967 the park was created because of discovery of fossils embedded in the rock on the east side of Dawson Creek.
