Irrigation Lake Park is a full serviced recreation destination complete with picnic tables (some in the shade, some not), fire pits, sitting benches, change rooms and outhouses. The lake enjoys a small sandy beach and a large grassy area. Many arrive at the lake to swim and picnic.

China Nose Mountain Trail is a challenging hike to summit views. The peak provides a phenomenal view of the surrounding mountain ranges and the many lakes and rivers of the Bulkley Valley.

The Smithers Community Forest enjoys an interpretive nature loop trail that explores different ecological habitats and leads to the Pine Creek Cross-Country Ski Trails neighboring the Ski Smithers Ski Hill.

Established in 1989, the 54 acre park includes the Huble Homestead and the many pioneer buildings plus the Giscome Heritage Trail. The homestead is a popular historical destination in the Giscome Regional Park located north of Prince George, BC, Canada.

The trail system follows a circle route for 2.8 kilometres and is used by joggers, dog walkers (dogs must be leashed on the trail), fly fisherman and, even, cross country skiers in the winter.

The campground is base camp - with the Opal Bed, Beaver Pond and Lookout Trails all starting from the recreation site. The wilderness recreation site acts as Mile "0" for these three trails.

McMillan Creek Regional Park is a network of three short trails leading to a grassy knoll lookout over looking the community of Prince George, BC, Canada and the mighty Nechako River.

it is a 269 hectare forested destination with hiking trails, a canyon, a day use area and a campground situated on the shoreline of the Kleanza Creek (seems more like a river) located just east of the community of Terrace.

Bourbor Falls Trail in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, Canada is a short 800 metre path connecting to a cliff side viewpoint looking out over a river at Boubor Falls. The 1 hour return hike provides a great opportunity to view a towering waterfall without a long, hard hike.

The area is a popular destination for hikers, but also for wildlife. Visiting Oliver Lake and hiking the Dwarf Forest Trail provides a good opportunity to view Bald Eagles and Ravens.
