Kokanee Creek Provincial Park is one of the more popular campground and day use parks near the community of Nelson, BC in the Kootenay region of British Columbia, Canada. The 260 hectare park is located on the shores of the west arm of Kootenay Lake where the Kokanee Creek empties into the lake.

The Last Spike historic site is the feature attraction located at a major rest stop located on the Trans Canada Highway, east of Sicamous BC and west of Revelstoke, BC. Marking the historic event is a large stone monument accompanied by a rail car.

Hikers, bikers, dog walkers and roller bladders enjoy the 8 kilometre paved loop trail and side roads called the "Wasa Lions Way" path. For a slower pace, there is a short 2.7 kilometre interpretive path named the "Forest of the Rainshadow" which begins at the amphitheatre near the campground.

The Balancing Rock Trail is a short 2 kilometre hike follows a dirt, earthy single-track path up the slopes of Mt. Creston via switchbacks, eventually, leading to a viewpoint, Ralph's Bridge, balancing rock and a small waterfall.
