Along the shores of the pond is a short dirt walking and biking trail providing views of the lake. The gravel hiking route is part of the TCT (Trans Canada Trail). Along the dirt path are a series of viewing benches overlooking the pond.

Syringa Provincial Park is a campground park on Lower arrow Lake which protects one of the few grassland eco systems located in the Kootenay region. First established in 1968, the grassland park now covers 4,417 hectares

The 12 kilometre K&S Wagon Road Trail is popular for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, ATVing in the summer months and cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.

Thompson Waterfall Trail is a short 1.4 kilometre loop trail leading to a waterfall on the Blaeberry River. At the 900 metre point is the location of the waterfall.
