Hague Lake Park on Cortes Island is a recreation lake named Hague Lake. The lake is a popular swimming hole, canoe lake, hiking area and beachcombing destination on the island.

Dinner Bay is a family playground and picnic park and the Japanese Gardens are home to gardens with floral colors, scents and outdoor art.

The totem pole measures 53 metres tall. That is about 173 feet for our American friends. Jimmy Dick was the Chief Carver. The traditional figures on this pole represent many of the families that belong to the Kwakwaka’wakw First Nation.

The highlights of Roesland attract people to the park. Some of the highlights include Row House (the museum), the hiking trail to the tip of Roe Islet (amazing marine views) and the hiking trail to Roe Lake located above Shingle Bay.

South Otter Bay Road

Some of the main highlights in the park include a beautiful white shelled beach, a sheltered lagoon and a network of hiking trails. The main trail in the park is the 3 kilometre hiking trail exploring Gray Peninsula.

Montague Park Road

Cape Mudge Lighthouse on Quadra Island of the Discovery Islands, BC, Canada is located on the southern tip of the island so to protect and mark the entrance to the Discovery Passage.

Lighthouse Road

The park includes a 2 kilometre long sand spit, hiking trails, sandy beaches and a small protected cove. Ideal for swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, scuba diving, sailing and picnicking.

The point is ideal for beachcombing, sightseeing and for viewing the ocean, the marine activity, as well as, Mount Washington on Vancouver Island.

Lacon Road

The Beautiful Bay Trail is a moderate hike along an earthy trail. The 5 kilometre route explores through the island's forest leading to hill tops with views of the surrounding ocean waters. The most popular viewpoint are the Malcolm and Numas Lookouts.

Sointula

The Descanso Bay Regional Park is a convenient and easily accessible destination for kayaking, swimming, beachcombing, fishing and camping.

aylor Bay Road

The park is an ideal moorage destination for boaters as it is protected from the elements and enables boaters to wait out any rough weather. Ocean kayakers also can enjoy the coastline of this park.

Bere Point Park is a popular beach destination on the island. The park provides great ocean scenery and an opportunity to view some wildlife. The regional park includes a pebbled and sandy beach, campsites, pit toilets, a boat launch and a day use picnic area with picnic tables and fire pits.
