Centennial Park is a popular location for relaxing, lunches, sightseeing and outdoor events. During the summer months the park is the home to a farmers market, art shows, events and festivals.
Hague Lake Park on Cortes Island is a recreation lake named Hague Lake. The lake is a popular swimming hole, canoe lake, hiking area and beachcombing destination on the island.
The totem pole measures 53 metres tall. That is about 173 feet for our American friends. Jimmy Dick was the Chief Carver. The traditional figures on this pole represent many of the families that belong to the Kwakwaka’wakw First Nation.

Cape Mudge Lighthouse on Quadra Island of the Discovery Islands, BC, Canada is located on the southern tip of the island so to protect and mark the entrance to the Discovery Passage.
The park includes a 2 kilometre long sand spit, hiking trails, sandy beaches and a small protected cove. Ideal for swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, scuba diving, sailing and picnicking.

Bere Point Park is a popular beach destination on the island. The park provides great ocean scenery and an opportunity to view some wildlife. The regional park includes a pebbled and sandy beach, campsites, pit toilets, a boat launch and a day use picnic area with picnic tables and fire pits.
