Basin Head Provincial Park is located east of Souris PEI. The day use park is one of the most popular sandy beach swimming destination on the island. The beach runs for kilometres providing many opportunities for finding your own private piece of solitude. the beach is nicknamed "Singing Sands" due to the sounds it makes when walking on it.
