The Dryden Signature Trail is a recreation and sightseeing pathway located in Northwestern Ontario, Sunset Country in the City of Dryden.

The City of Dryden enjoys a trail network measuring over 25+ kilometres long. The Dryden Signature Trail is the main sightseeing pathway in the network measuring over 5.4 kilometres long.

Most of the trail follows a gravel pathway with some small sections of the paved pathway. The trail route also includes a suspension bridge and some sections with stairs.

The Dryden Signature Trail follows the banks of the Wabigoon River and is an ideal pathway when exploring and sightseeing in the community.

The signature trail connects to parks and rest areas - some with sightseeing benches, washrooms and grass lawns which are ideal for viewing wildlife and for watching the activity on the river.

The parks located on the Dryden Signature Trail include Johnstone Park, Cooper Park and the Laura Howe Marsh.

The Dryden Signature Trail connects with other community trails in the City of Dryden, Ontario. The combined trail and side street road network provides access to all four corners of the city.

The Urban Trail (12.3 km) visits neighbourhoods, parks and recreation facilities. The Nature in the City Trail (6.8 km) explores the natural areas located on the outskirts of the city. It is a popular route for locals who enjoy jogging in the summer and cross country skiing in the winter.

How To Get ToDryden Signature Trail

Drive : The northern trailhead begins in Johnston Park on the Trans Canada Highway (Hwy#17). The southern trail entrance can be accessed from the Laura Howe Marsh near the shores of Wabigoon Lake.
