Legoland Discovery Center is a Bucket List Item in the Greater Toronto Area

Vaughan Mills Mall is the home of Legoland Discovery Center theme park, if you are visiting the GTA you will want to schedule a few hours of your trip at this iconic tourist attraction.

Legoland Toronto Family-Friendly Attraction - Experience one of southern Ontario's greatest family-friendly tourist attractions near Toronto Canada called Legoland Discovery Center theme park. Schedule a few hours of play into your day trip, plan a birthday party, attend spectacular events, and book a large group or school class adventure.

If you are visiting the greater Toronto area, add Legoland to your bucket list. Located conveniently in Vaughan, Ontario in the Vaughan Mills Shopping Mall.

Featuring more than two million Lego bricks, Legoland is designed for children 3-10 years of age, but offers a lot of fun for the entire family! Note - adults must be accompanied by at least one child BUT not to worry as any adult wishing to explore the center can attend an Adult Fans of Lego Night event.

I have explored Legoland several times with my family and each time the kids have thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Here is my breakdown of what you can enjoy in the facility and some tips to make it a tad more cost-effective.

Legoland Toronto Family-Friendly Attraction Admission Costs & Annual Passes

Legoland Discovery Center is a cashless facility. Be prepared to purchase tickets online or at the kiosk. Check the official Legoland website for up to date ticket prices.

Admission Prices as of 2024:

3 options + taxes

$36.99 / Admission + Virtual Reality Simulator + LEGO Minifigure
$31.99 / Admission + LEGO Minifigure
$26.99 / Admission

Bundled Annual Packages:

$45.99-53.99 / Sunday-Friday
$80.99-$107.99 / Visit Anytime

During our first visit, I honestly was not expecting to pay an entrance fee for adults because typically indoor playgrounds do not charge a fee for an adult accompanying a child. Which, in my opinion, is something Legoland could work on to improve the user experience. However, Legoland does offer annual passes reducing the overall cost for families wanting to attend more than once a year.

Ultimate Legoland Attractions inside Vaughan Mills Mall

Legoland Discovery Center offers a variety of special attractions that really seemed to keep both of our kids entertained. All of these attractions, except for the virtual reality experience, are included in the admission cost.

Kingdom Quest: Take a ride around a track, zapping beastly trolls and sneaky skeletons, while trying to save the captured princess.

Lego 4D Cinema: Watch films transform into live action adventures. Become part of the action, as flurries of wind, rain, lightening, and even snow burst into the auditorium.

Duplo Village: For the younger Lego builder to enjoy larger blocks.

Merlin's Apprentice Ride: Pedal the enchanted cart in Merlin's magical potions chamber.

Lego Ninjago City Adventure: Explore the dojo temple and visit the Lego build table with 20 interactives.

The Great Lego Race Virtual Reality Experience: Race Lego vehicles and become the next champion.

Meet & Greet: Meet your favorite Lego characters on Saturdays and Sundays at Legoland Discovery Center.

Lego Master Builder Academy: Catch special workshops to discover insider tips.

Miniland: Toronto's landmarks transformed into over half a million Lego brick replicas.

Build & Test: Race your vehicle on the test track for the fastest time.

Lego Friends: Explore the Heartlake City house, build, and become a karaoke star.

Lego Factory: Learn how raw plastic is turned into Lego.

Lego Shop: Over 900 Lego sets and products available in the retail store.

Coffee Shop: Food and Beverages at Legoland

Take a break at the Legoland Coffee Shop. Grab a bite to eat or something to drink while you relax in a colorful and vibrant setting. They offer snacks, drinks, ice cream, and hot items.

While the Coffee Shop is a good option, bringing your own food and drinks is permitted in the eating area. I prefer to bring my own snacks and beverages to save on the overall cost of the day. You could also choose to schedule your playtime before or after a meal, and dine-in at one of the restaurants located within Vaughan Mills Mall

I've been to Legoland in California but I had no idea we had something similar in Canada. It sounds like a great family adventure.
